ZipWhip: MWC 19 Los Angeles

There is a tried and true adage that applies to all aspects of human experience. If you delight people, they will remember you fondly. This is sometimes lost in the tech sector, where companies often feel that trying to add artistic or experiential executions to their events is superfluous and off-brand. It takes a bit of convincing, but when the audience is truly delighted, the company is very glad it followed my advice.

I was asked to create an experience for the MWC LA (Mobile World Congress Los Angeles 19) attendees for ZipWhip, a leading SMS Software Company based in Seattle. I Incorporated a mix of Legendary DJ talent along with a series of Projection & Image mapping on a building in LA. The effect was stellar. On this and other inspiring events, I worked with my dear friend and collaborator Jared Lovejoy who spends most of his time soaking up creative vibes from the Universe on the Island of Orcas and lands on earth to help Tashkent Park make magic.
